Operating since 1696 in an 18th-century building, the hotel blends classic craftsmanship with industrial touches. Interior design by Tibor Somlai features wood paneling, contemporary Hungarian artworks, and graphic designs by Géza Ipacs, known for wine label designs.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Budapest. The rooms were outstanding, super comfortable, and full of nice details like the vintage-style radio and fridge. The location was exceptional, situated right at the heart of the Buda Castle District, offering a great base for exploring the area. The service was fantastic, with very helpful and friendly staff throughout my stay. However, the dining experience was not value for money, with only two croissants and jam provided.
I found the hotel to be a charming place, with some lovely features but also a few drawbacks. The rooms, while pleasant, lacked privacy due to a glass screen connection to the bathroom. However, the service provided by both the hotel staff and local establishments was fantastic. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of Buda Castle with fantastic rooms that are ideal after a long day out. However, the corridor light entering through the internal window covered with a cheap blind can be bothersome at night. The service is very friendly and extremely helpful, making the stay pleasant.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel in Budapest. The rooms were excellent in terms of finish and decor, located in a lovely area of Budapest. I was impressed by the outstanding room I stayed in, with thoughtful little extras like a personalised welcome letter and very nice toiletries. However, the dining experience was very disappointing. The service was wonderful, and the location was fabulous, providing a great base for my time in Budapest.
I loved the central location of the hotel in the heart of Buda Castle District, perfect for exploring on foot. The rooms were comfortable, but the lack of privacy due to the glass screen was a downside. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming during our stay.
